My Baby is Growing

Addy is getting so big. At times it makes me so sad. She is so much fun. She makes us laugh all of the time.

Trunk or Treat

So, I started a crazy tradition years ago - we dressed up as a family. We have had some fun costumes. This year I wanted my kidos to be whatever they wanted. They did not go for it. They decided that they wanted to dress up like the characters from Monster's Inc. We won the prize at our wards Halloween party for the best family costume. We had a lot of fun.
Addy was Boo and it took a lot of black hair spray to make her white hair turn black and it was so messy. I do not think that we will be spraying it for Halloween night.

This is Addy and Kipp -which is one of her most favorite people in the whole world. He is the first counselor in the Bishopric. She wanted to be with him and his wife (Tanya) the whole night because she knew that we wouldn't let her eat all of her candy and they would.

Bailey invided several of her friends from school to come to the party. Her costume was the hardest to make. I think that it turned out. She really looked like Celia.

I was thirsty!

OK - so maybe I am a mean mom to grab my camera to take a picture of this. This is Addy drinking out of the dogs water bowl. This is her new thing - instead of telling me that she would like a drink she just helps herself to the dog's water. I now need to clean the dog's bowl often, as if I don't already have enough to clean, because she does this when ever she is thirsty. The thing is, if I keep a sippy cup of water for her on the table, she would still go to the dog's water. Addy and the Dog are just best friends. He shares his water and well, she shares her food with him. You can tell by his pudgy belly.

SOCCER MOM!!!!!

I guess that it is official that I am a soccer mom, or shall I say that Tom and I are soccer parents. Parker and Bailey both played soccer this year. We started in July having practice every Tuesday and Tursday for 5 to 7. I have learned to love my corckpot. Bailey and Parker practiced at two different parks (I am glad that we live in a small town). When Parker's game started, they moved to the same park and things were a little easier. He played every Tuesday and Thursday. Cute little kidos running around! They were really fun to watch. His season has ended. Bailey plays on Saturdays at home and out of town. She just finished her mid season break. We are ready for the second half of the season - rain or shine. We really enjoy watching our kids play soccer. It really is a lot of fun!

Bailey is in her 4th year of soccer and loves it more than ever. Because she is young for her grade, she has to play up every other year in order to keep her on her same team. This year was a year when she had to play up. She is so little compared to some of the players. Some of the players are in 7th grade. However, she is holding her own. She mostly plays half back because she is such a runner. Last year her coaches called her John Dear. He team, the Chili Peppers, are doing great.

Last year they played in division A and won it. This year, because they were younger, the started in division B. They took the division so they are moving up to A for the second half of the season. Here are their standings:

Game 1: Won 7 to 2

Game 2: Won 7 to 1

Game 3: Won 5 to 2

Game 4: Won 10 to 1

Game 5 : Won 3 to 1

This Saturday they are playing the team that took the A division for the first half of the year. We will see how it goes!!!

The Spectators

Here are some of the spectators at our soccer games. Taylor was not playing soccer this year, but he had a ton of fun playing at the park while Parker's games were happening. Addy had fun playing with her little friends - Valerie and Addy (Addison). I Adelyn wasn't playing with her friends, she was trying to give me a run for my money because she would try to run out on the field. She felt like she was big enough to play too - She will have to wait a few years!

Parker "The Soccer Player"

Parker played soccer for his first time this year. He has been such a trooper over the last few years going to his siblings sporting events. He finally was able to have a turn. AND well, I think that we have another soccer player on our hands.He was actually really good. He payed attention (most of the time), he was not afraid to get in there after the ball, and he had a ton of fun.

Goalie was his favorite position and he was really good at stopping the ball from going in. Don't tell anyone, but he was the best little goalie out there. He would be really upset if a game went by and he was not able to play goalie.
