Last week, I canned pears - about 40 pounds to be exact. I thought that it would be harder letting him help, but Parker was really a big helper. I peeled the pears, then he sliced them with the apple slicer and put them in the jars. We really enjoyed the time we spent together.

Way to go!! That's a lot of pears! We have been doing this around our house as well.
