WE HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD!!

Thought I would share a few emails that I have sent today to my husband just to document this day!! I sometimes will keep Tom posted on some of the days activities - just so he is not missing out while he is at work. I don't really have to do this often, but today I have done it twice and it is only 11:00 a.m.

First e-mail:

GUESS WHAT ADDY JUST GOT PUT IN TIME OUT FOR SAYING????

I hate you mom! Repeated several times. I took some dirty bowls away from her that she took out of the dishwasher and she decided that she hated me for that. Just thought I would brighten you day with the words of a two year old...

**I had her come and stand in front of me to tell me what she was saying because I couldn't believe that I heard what I did. Yep! Sure enough, I heard right.

Second e-mail:
Do we have any supper glue??? Why do I ask. Out Nativity has survived Bailey, Taylor, and Parker. Not even a chip. They have been so careful. Well you can imagine what happened. In one fatal swoop, Addy took out three figures. One is broke in half and can be fixed with super glue. She took off Josephs hand, and crushed the head off of one of the wise men. We shall be on the hunt for a new one. The thing that made me mad is that she did it on purpose. I told her not to touch and so she took the one and crashed it into the others. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE OUR HANDS FULL WITH THIS ONE!!!

**Parker told me that Addy ruined his entire Christmas (as he was crying). He said that the wise man that she destroyed was his favorite. I assured him that he could still have a good Christmas.
He helped me put up some decorations and felt better. I am glad the his ENTIRE Christmas isn't ruined!

Well she keeps you on your toes! I am sorry about the nativity set. Good luck with your two year old. :-)

She sounds busy, but you're a pro now, right? Imagine if Bailey had been so busy...They all bring their own challenges and joys, don't they?
I wish I could blame the fact that I had to literally sit on Jocelyn Sunday morning to wrestle her into a dress to try to make it to church on her being two, but unfortunately she's three. Maybe she's just strong willed??? Even more problematic for me!
